The Hoofbeat March
To honor the schools heritage, we wanted to pay homage to the school's original mascot the Mustang by using the title of the schools original yearbook, The Hoofbeat (Cover Pictured below)
We are excited to get started on the preparation of the new piece. Thank you to everyone that donated to the commission project or shared the project with friends and relatives.
You will not want to miss the premiere performance on MAY 14th at Southeast Guilford High School.
Do you want to help make this premiere performance EXTRA special and memorable for the students?
We would like to have the performance professionally recorded and to provide students the opportunity to take home a professional recording of their performance on May 14th.
There are two ways you can help:
1.) You can pre-order a CD in the band store, click here to pre-order a CD (or multiple).
Proceeds from CD pre-orders will go toward the recording fee.
2.) You can sponsor a portion of the recording cost. White Sound studios, based in Winston-Salem, will be recording the performance and their recording fee is $500. If you are interested in helping to sponsor a portion of the recording fee, contact Mr. Leib directly, leiba@gcsnc.com
